BACKGROUND

The municipality of Quime is located in the Larecaja province of the La Paz department in Bolivia. It is a town situated at the head of a valley and is characterized by a temperate climate, glaciers, and mountainous landscapes. Its inhabitants are mostly dedicated to agriculture, tourism, and mining.
There is a church in this area that the ministry has been supporting with Bibles, supplies, and financial assistance for the construction of its church building. On this occasion, we will be conducting a large evangelistic campaign for nearly 600 children at a local school, and we will also be distributing school backpacks to the students.

OBJECTIVE
Evangelize 585 children from the Teodomiro Urquiola educational unit and deliver school backpacks to each student.

ACTIVITY PERFORMED
We departed very early from La Paz, traveling approximately five hours to the Quime region. In the afternoon, we held a thanksgiving service at the Quime Evangelical Church to strengthen and encourage the pastor and church leaders.

The following day, we left early for the school and organized an activity with the teachers and administrative staff. The children came out of their classrooms and filled the schoolyard. A couple of clowns presented an entertainment program for the children, and then one of the volunteers gave a presentation about the Gospel so that many children could come to know the Lord.
