BACKGROUND

Thanks to missionary work carried out over more than ten years in the Franz Tamayo
and Bautista Saavedra provinces, we have successfully established more 
than 10 churches that are currently operating in various communities across these provinces.

It was decided to hold the "First Annual Church Gathering" this May.
This event brings together the established churches from both provinces—along
with the majority of their congregations—for three days of worship, fellowship,
and training.

Pastors from La Paz and various evangelism groups were invited to lead and train 
the local church. Additionally, logistics regarding meals and accommodation had
to be organized for the nearly 500 attendees.

OBJECTIVE

To bring together more than 10 established churches from the Bautista Saavedra
and Franz Tamayo provinces for a three-day event uniting their entire congregations.

ACTIVITY CARRIED OUT

Successfully executing this gathering required three months of advance planning,
including organizing logistics, the venue, and training speakers.
The event took place at the Betel Church in Apolo—a 22-hour journey from 
the city of La Paz. Committees were formed to gather food supplies and arrange 
transportation for pastors and speakers; teams were assigned to manage accommodation 
for 500 people, and groups of women were designated to handle meal preparation.

The event opened on Friday night with a message from the District Director 
of the Assemblies of God in La Paz. Over the following days, 
pastors and missionaries—such as Fernando Palomeque, Carlos Mamani, 
and Emilio Flores—led teaching sessions, sermons, and powerful worship services. 
On Sunday, we concluded the event with a massive march to the central square 
of the Apolo community to thank God for the growth of His church 
in these remote areas.
