BACKGROUND
Located in a tropical region in the Muñecas province, a nine-hour drive from the city of La Paz, lies the community of Tipuaya, a valley where residents trade fruits and vegetables, raise animals, and literally live off the land.
The missionary team has been supporting the establishment of a new church in this area for three years now. Thanks to the Lord, several families gather weekly to worship God.
Thanks to the support of pastors Carlos Montaño and Butch Guidri, 75 school backpacks were assembled for the children of this community, and with the help of volunteers, they were distributed during an evangelistic campaign for the local residents.
OBJECTIVE
Send and distribute 75 school backpacks and distribute them in the community of Tipuaya, and hold an evangelism and social support event for the church.
ACTIVITY PERFORMED
Thanks to the contributions of pastors Butch Guidri and Carlos Montaño, and the donations of volunteers, school backpacks have been assembled for the children of Tipuaya, to be distributed during a fasting event in the community.
After more than eight hours on a muddy road, with frequent stops to push the car, the team of volunteers reached Tipuaya and participated in the fasting with the congregation.
An evangelistic event was held, and counseling sessions were offered to families. On the last day, 75 school backpacks were distributed to children in the area.
Each backpack contained:
– A 100-sheet binder
– Two 50-sheet notebooks
– A pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, and two pens
– A ruler
– A box of colored pencils
– An educational toy
– Bible material
The pastors and parents were grateful for this gesture, and the church in that region was blessed.
GRATITUDE
We thank the Lord for His protection, the volunteers for supporting the ministry’s vision, and especially the Montaño family and Pastor Butch Guidri for their support.
May the Lord bless you!
